(It is possible to stay overnight on the island in a family´s home. This is a very nice and special experience which we really recommend, keep in mind that the houses are very rustic though).

Mancora is the most popular place in Peru for for swimming and beach life. The water is known for its turquoise color. Mancora also offers a very wide range of restaurants by fair means, discotheques, shopping, nightlife, etc.
Summer lasts from december to april and are very hot, and the temperature can reach over + 38 C, at night it may rain. The rest of the year the climate is dry and sunny, often with a cool breeze. Temperatures never reach below + 25 C during the day, usually between + 25 to + 30 C, at night it may go down to + 17 C.
The beach has over 30 "Beach Resorts" that receive tourists from all over the world, but mainly from South America. There are a very large number of restaurants and nightclubs in view of the fact that the city has only 10 000 inhabitants. The beach stretches for miles where you can take walks and admire the large number of surfers, or maybe even try it on yourself.
The city gives the impression of being very "private" and "empty" when you spend a day on the beaches, but in the evenings and nights there are a lot of people out on the restaurants and on discoteques with loud music.
The hotels are not situated at the heart of the entertainment and shopping life, but close enough to offer any service that implies. You live in quieter spots after the beach where relaxation by the pool or on the beach is in the centre. Our guests tend to appreciate these choices, in all ages.
Please contact us by chat, mail or phone for personal service and answers. We will customize your trip according to your wishes. That´s our specialty.
