Day 1: Cuzco-
Mollepata- Soraypampa (L, D)
We pick you up early
at your hotel for the 2,5 hour drive to Mollepata where
we will have breakfast. On the way to this charming

fascinating Inca temple. In Mollepata you start the
3 hour trek up to Sayllapata where you will have lunch.
After lunch there is time to rest before you continue
for 4 hours to the final destination of the day, Soraypampa
(altitude: 4000m). Here we set up the campsite and have
a nice dinner.
Day 2: Soraypampa
– Collpapampa (B, L, D)
An early wake up
for breakfast. Then you hike for 4 hours up to an altitude
of 4700 meters from where you will have stunning views
of the Salkantay mountain range. You will have lunch
in Huayracpampa (altitude: 3600m). After lunch you continue
downhill into the cloud forest where lush vegetation
awaits. After a 4 hour trek you reach Collpapampa (altitude:
2900m). Here we set up the camp and have dinner.
Day 3: Collpapampa-
Playa- Santa Teresa (B, L, D)
Early wake up for
breakfast and then you start the hike down the valley.
Today´s hike will provide great opportunities
for spotting birdlife. After lunch you cross the Santa
Teresa River and from there you follow a nice flat hike
to Lucmabamba where we set up the camp and have dinner.
Day 4: Santa
Teresa- La Oroya- Aguas Calientes (B, L, D)
Today is the final
day of trekking. An early breakfast and then a challenging

destination Puente Ruinas in the town of Aguas Calientes.

Day 5: Aguas
Calientes- Machu Picchu- Cuzco (B)
An early wake up

to climb the mountain next to Machu Picchu; Huayna Picchu
