Royal Inca Trail 2 Days |

The Royal Inca Trail is the 2 day
version of the Inca Trail. You only
do one day of trekking and then stay
overnight in Aguas Calientes. On the
second day you visit Machu Picchu. You
need Inca Trail permits to do this trek
so book far in advance. |

Salkantay Trek |

The Salkantay trek is 5 days long
and a great alternative to the Inca
Trail. There are fewer tourists on this
trek and the landscapes are even more
impressive. You will not see as many
ruins as on the Inca Trail though. On
the fourth day you arrive to Aguas Calientes
and on the fifth day you visit Machu
Picchu. |
